The client wanted to convert an unused attic into an additional 2 bedrooms and bathroom. We started by strengthening the trusse cords (timber that supports the roof and tiles) which allowed us to remove the webs (the timber that you can see in the before photo of the attic). We then created a new area in the form of a dormer, which is the bathroom that projects from the roof. New 100mm insulation, electrics as well as top-quality Velux windows were installed, as well as everything else you would expect from a new liveable area. The end result was a new landing, bathroom, two rooms and a happy client.
